Found My Password!

Ok Shelly.

I got tired of the crap you were kicking me.
I have found my password and am soon to post some wedding pictures. We are entering our busiest day and week of the year. We should set some sales records at www.epicseats.com this Sunday as the BCS teams are announced and we fly through tickets to the college bowl games. Root for Alabama and Missouri for us this weekend. We would go crazy for an Alabama vs Texas BCS national championship game, Alabama vs Oklahoma would be great as well. Florida vs Oklahoma is our least favorite, but most likely match up.

Looks like people have fallen off on this blog over the past few weeks. Hopefully we can get it kick started again.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

The next visit...

Next time the kids come to Vegas to visit you will have to take them to Seigfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage. I know the kids will love it.

Visitors

Katy, Laila, Shian, and Kian are in town. They arrived in Vegas on Friday night and we have been having fun ever since. We (well, not Kian) have been hanging out in our little pool. We have gone shopping, we have gone to a luau (see pictures on my blog), and they have gone to the strip. We are going to go to the dolphin exhibit at the Mirage and hope to see the lions at the MGM Grand. Friday night we are going to downtown Vegas to see the light show on Fremont street. Saturday and Sunday we are going to the Grand Canyon and hope the thunderstorms don't ruin the trip! We our driving to Williams, AZ to stay at the Grand Canyon Hotel and the next day take the TRAIN to the Grand Canyon. Pretty excited about that!

Tug cuddling up with Kian. He is feeling a lot better and has been able to get around a bit more even with that HUGE cast on his leg! Shian has been working really HARD to make friends with the little princess Lola. I really think her aggression is a size issue, and now that Shian is getting bigger Lola doesn't seem as inclined to attach herself on to his lip like she did a couple of years ago! I think Lileigh and Jaxon still need to watch out though!

Kian

Poor kid broke his leg. Right at the beginning of summer too! Katy and the kids were going to leave this Sunday (Mom's Birthday!) to head to Berkeley to visit Alex for a few days and then I was going to fly to Disneyland to meet them and we were all going to head back to Vegas. The Disneyland portion has been cut out (duh). I haven't been since 1989 so waiting a few more months is no biggie! However, Kian was the one really looking forward to going and he also realized that he won't be able to enjoy ANY swimming for the rest of the summer. He gets his hard cast put on Monday and then they will be heading out of town after that. As far as breaks go this one was good...good as in no surgery, no damage to the growth plates, no setting it. He has a spiral fracture of his tibia which should heal with no problems. If any of you feel like emailing Kian his adddress is: dooplisstheduplighost@yahoo.com

Jaxon's Birthday Bash

Saturday we arrived at Jake and Rikki's just in time for Jaxon's birthday party with his pals (seen here). They had fun on the huge water slide, had a pinata and of course plenty of presents and cake.

Whale Ho

If it wasn't 114 degrees in the shade, you would think you had spotted a Beluga, hauled up on an ice floe. No, it's just Uncle Al baking his blubber in the desert sun. Shelly declined the opportunity to have her relaxation pose published on the Internet so her right to ridicule me is forfeited but the rest of you (Erin) feel free. Solstice here means it is going to be damn hot for at least a couple of months and this is how we will be passing the time. We still have to get some floaties with cup holders so we don't have to paddle to shore for sips on our frosty beverages. Other than that, we are set.

On It!

Ok, so I am finally up and running. Thanks to those who helped and sorry for being a pain in the rear.

I am going to start my blogging career with a shameless plug for my website - Epic Seats
I have been optimizing my site and the one thing that keeps coming up is that I should start a blog and mention all of the tickets we sell in it. So if any of you need Seattle Seahawks tickets, Seattle Mariners tickets, Chicago Cubs tickets, Boston Red Sox tickets, Washington Nationals tickets, Miami Dolphins tickets, San Fran 49ers tickets etc. you know who to talk to ;)
We have been working a lot on our website and it's traffic is definitely improving. We have more work to do as always, but there should be some exciting stuff in store. We hired a UW website intern for the summer and he is doing some great work.

So, I can't think of too much that is going on that you all don' t already know about. Of course between running Epic, planning a wedding, starting a vacation rental biz with Aimee and keeping a busy social calendar I don't seem to have enough stuff going on.

Here are some pictures that you may or may not have seen - Thailand before a scuba dive, Hong Kong Stadium for that Rugby tournament and a Burger as big as Ben's head.

Hello again,

This last weekend was an eventful one for us. Jake and I were in charge of my family's reuinion this year, so we decided to have a Hawaiian family come and do a luau for us all. It was very cool, and made us want to go to Hawaii even more. Jaxon and Jacob learned a Hawaiian Warrior Dance, and the girls learned the Huki-lau. Lileigh didn't want to stop dancing after that, and we could hardly keep her off the stage. It was a lot of fun. Here are some pictures. I also added some of the Amy's twins so you can see howmuch they are growing! (trey is on the left, and cord is on the left)
